Qualities Of A Good Virtual Assistant
There are countless of VAs out there - overseas, on sites and in your own country. However, as a business owner, you should know what the right option for you is and what to look for. A lot of entrepreneurs would want someone that is:
1. Easy to communicate with. The VA should respond in an appropriate time frame - may it be via a phone call or email. You should also be in synch - meaning, your personalities should match well.
2. Has experience in what you need. This kind of VA already knows what works and doesn't work, knows the tricks and is much more efficient. You can be sure that he or she gets the big picture of what your goals may be.
3. Trustworthy. Hire a VA that has your back - someone that can look out for you. Aside from checking off his or her to do list, he or she should be pro-active and suggest ways to improve your systems, websites or emails.
4. Has a team. This is something worth considering especially if you want to make sure that your projects are not affected and remain on schedule whenever your VA is sick or goes on vacation.
Not every VA has these qualities. Helping to run a business involves hard work and it is not for everyone. Make sure you hire someone who has these qualities and can actually deliver.
